During this time of social distancing and stay-at-home orders, we are excited to announce that we are now offering telehealth chiropractic at Active Chiropractic. Patients are welcome to visit our office, as chiropractic remains an essential part of our healthcare system. However, telehealth will now allow us to provide at-home care.
How do I schedule?
Patients can schedule an appointment just like they would if they were physically coming into the office. However, with telehealth, the doctor will be reaching out to you by phone or video conferencing based on your preference.
How does it work?
The doctor will first update your medical history and then run through a series of questions to determine a diagnosis and treatment options.
How does the treatment work?
Treatment will consist of home care recommendations including changes to daily routines, ergonomic suggestions, and stretching or strengthening exercises. Instructional videos and explanations can be shared through email.
What if I can’t be helped by telehealth?
It may be recommended that you come into the office for further evaluation and a more comprehensive examination. You may also be referred to a healthcare provider better suited to get you the help you need.
What does it cost?
Self-pay prices for established patients, telehealth visits cost $50. For a new patient, there will an additional $35 added to the visit. Aultcare is the only insurance we currently submit to for telehealth.
